Misty morning on the Busway

This photograph of the Luton-Dunstable Busway was taken early one morning.  It was near the start of my cycling commute to Stevenage.

The mist was disappearing fast, often the way early in the morning and where the temperature rises quickly. I waited for the cyclist to be in the right place as I wanted some scale and a focal point. Through running and cycling on the Busway, it is surprising how something that ordinary and mundane, can look so beautiful through the seasons.

There’s no filter; the colour is exactly as it was. I used my Panasonic point-and-press camera and my guess is I zoomed in quite a bit.

Actually the Busway which turned out to be my unexpected appearance on the local BBC radio. I had been blogging about the cycle track and this had been found by the radio station and they interviewed me a few times, also asked if I could be their “cycling correspondent”.  Sadly I could never take that up, at the time I was working full time.  Oh well, another time!
